The structure of the new therapy mat is based on an intelligent layered system in which each layer fulfills a clearly defined function:

As a designer, my goal was to deliberately shape every single layer of this therapy mat and define its function with precision. The interaction of materials, technology, and ergonomics was designed not only to perform technically, but also to feel intuitive and coherent for the user. It was especially important to me to create a clear structure in which each layer makes a measurable contribution to the overall effect. The result is a design that combines technology, comfort, and aesthetics into a truly holistic user experience.
An aluminum foil layer acts as a shielding and guiding element, supporting the targeted direction of energy and heat within the system. This section is complemented by a conductive fabric, which secures the electrical and functional connections between components. A durable 3D mesh layer provides breathability and ergonomic lying comfort, while the underlying bamboo activated charcoal fabric supports moisture regulation and odor neutralization. The lower structure consists of an aluminum foil layer for infrared reflection, a cushioning EPE foam layer for stabilization, and an additional aluminum foil layer for thermal insulation, minimizing heat loss toward the underside. The construction is completed by a resilient bottom material, ensuring durability and secure placement.
